As my fascination with rideshare bikes and scooters continued to grow I realized that this isn’t just an issue in Seattle but a nationwide crisis. I asked friends and family members in Seattle, WA, Boulder, CO, and Washington D.C. to document any abuse or weird situations they found rideshare bikes in. The results are shown on these maps. They reflect many different people’s collective experiences with the lack of ownership these vessels often have.
